A number of our members have reported receiving an unsolicited mass-mailing consisting of a black envelope bearing a red wax seal. While this is a concern for us, we can assure you that all databases containing sensitive information pertaining to our members are secure and have not been compromised.

The notes contained in these letters are not to be associated in any way with IBVM, Union Local 666, or any of our international branches. Furthermore, the Japanese website known as Chishio is not a Union-operated or affiliated website.

This is your monthly meeting reminder for October. We will be meeting on Friday, May 16, 2008 at the New Marshall Central Offices at 6pm. We will be closing the books on a successful winter, and will be looking forward to a prosperous summer Season.

On a sad note, we would also like to mourn the passing of member Thomas Heath. Mr’s Heath’s death came as an unexpected surprise to many of us. Throughout his tenure here at IBVM, he made improvements for people from all walks of life, and his lasting impact will be felt on the streets for years to come. Thomas Heath is survived by his son James and wife Juliette.
